Modern Art and the Life of a Culture
This book challenges earlier Christian readings of Modern Art as devoid of God or antagonistic towards Christianity. It is an example of how to go beyond prior assumptions or surface readings of art, and to attempt to get to the core of what artists are trying to say or do.
